Sweetch is using the Apple Health app to sync your activity data from your smart device. This sync will allow you to review your daily count of total calories, distance walked and steps made within the Sweetch app.
We also use this data to calculate your daily activity goal measured in Sweecth activity minutes. This calculation may vary from the one your smart device is using due to differences in the app logic.
At the moment we only support Apple Watch series 6 or later versions. New iPhone compatible devices will continue to be added.
To connect your smart device with the Sweetch app, follow these steps:
Connect your smart device with Apple Health
- Make sure your device is paired with your iPhone. You probably already did this when setting up your smart device for the first time
If you are not sure, refer to the manufacturer website for further assistance. - Open the Apple Health app
- Tap your profile, then tap Devices
- Tap your smart device, e.g. Apple Watch
- Tap Privacy Settings and make sure that Fitness Tracking is turned on
- Now your smart device will automatically start sharing activity data with Apple Health
Allow Apple Health to share your activity data with Sweetch
- On your smartphone, open the Sweetch app
- Tap Menu ☰
- Scroll down and tap Connected Devices & Apps
- Turn on the activity sync with Apple Health
- Allow all the shown permissions when prompted. This is essential for proper activity data sync between the apps and for tracking your progress
- You are all set! Time to accomplish your daily goal
